We will do body work together in our session including reiki and working with meridian lines, neurovascular and MEI points on the head and body and lymphatic massage performed fully clothed.

I will provide a blanket and pillow, but I would recommend bringing some warm, clean socks. Wear warm, loose comfortable clothes like sweatpants, the old t-shirt you sleep in and a warm, cosy hoodie.

Helping you to feel safe, secure, relaxed and comfortable in our sessions is my biggest priority so, together, we can easily move your body into a state of rest, relaxation and digestion so you can get the most from your session, receive the healing you need and live energetically.

Sessions last between 90 minutes to three hours depending on the focus of the session. Please see ‘Book Your Session‘ for specific times for each type of balance.

If you haven’t chosen a predefined session, we will start with a consultation to discuss your history and background, why you have decided to try kinesiology therapy, what you tried before and a brief summary of what is going on for you in your life. You are welcome to provide as much or as little information as you feel comfortable, however, the more information we have, the bigger the picture.

After our consultation, we will begin our session by balancing the Supraspinatus (brain) and Teres Major (spine). Due to overdemanding, modern lifestyles, these are out of balance in most people, so we want to strengthen them to give us a good foundation to work on before testing the muscles required for the energy balance.

Muscle testing is performed by placing gentle pressure against muscles of your body whilst performing certain movements. You need to press back into my hand as directed with equal pressure. It is not a competition or fight, we are looking for a sustained hold.

Once any priority muscles have been strengthened nutritionally, we will move on to incorporate Thai Yoga and lymphatic massage; neurovascular and MEI points; and meridian line energy work to balance the muscles. During this time, unexpected emotions, sensations, feelings, thoughts and ideas can arise. I do my best to create a space for your to release this safely and comfortably and you are welcome to share as much or as little as you desire. You are never left alone in the process and will be supported with recommended foods, guided journaling work and activity ideas.

There are typically one of three responses to a kinesiology session with Louise.

The first is an immediate, elevated high—feeling like your best self on your best day. You experience instant clarity, confidence, and a boosted mood, which gently fades over the next couple of days. However, by applying the follow-up work from our sessions, this state becomes a more sustainable way of being.

The second is a more gradual shift. You may feel calmer or clearer, but the changes might not be obvious at first. Over time, you’ll notice that in certain situations, you respond differently, or in a few weeks, certain symptoms, behaviours, or habits have changed. You may also receive feedback from those around you, highlighting the transformation.

Finally, you may feel groggy, sleepy or even worse. It can be known as a ‘healing crisis’ or ‘Herxheimer reaction’. This can be accompanied by fevers, chills, nausea and vomiting, headaches, exacerbation of skin lesions, fatigue and food cravings that can last up to 24 hours. This is particularly common if you are detoxing from a chemical dependence like alcohol or smoking. If symptoms last longer than 24-48 hours or you have any heart issues, please seek medical advice immediately.

Ideally, give yourself two hours to let the ripples pass after our session before your next activity. Give yourself time to give your body what it needs. This may be food and a nap, deep sleep and rest, a walk. Try to ride the peaks and troughs smoothly – don’t throw yourself into any strenuous or challenging environments, situations, activities or interactions, no matter how habitual. Take time away from the screen, listen to music or a podcast and stay hydrated.

This is very personal to you and your reasons for wanting to receive a kinesiology session with me. Some cases can be resolved within one session, and some may take longer depending on each person’s symptoms symptoms and underlying issues.

Though kinesiology can offer immediate tools for your healing, your results of success depend on your commitment to your healing. Food, vitamin and supplement changes need to be implemented for 30 days to 60 days to notice results. Some cases may need long-term sessions for up to one year, but I would not ask my clients for any longer commitment with me and I will openly guide my clients to other services if I feel they would be of more benefit to them.

I recommend my clients take a minimum of one session plus a 4-6 week follow-up session which can be done in person, distance healing or online.

Yes, kinesiology works well alongside conventional medical treatments, physical therapy, chiropractic care and other holistic therapies like massage, yoga or acupuncture.

Kinesiology should be treated like a screwdriver in your healing tool kit. It offers solutions, has various uses and gets the job done; but cannot build a temple by itself alone. As any wise practitioner should, I recommend that you seek professional medical advice from your general practice doctor and research sources. Question everything so your mind and body can receive what it needs.

If you are looking for a holistic approach to health that addresses not just physical symptoms but also emotional and energetic imbalances, kinesiology may be a good fit.
